The founder

When the forest unites convictions that drawing transforms into architecture and emotion

Olivier Chadebost, Architect

Founded in 2001 following a dual background in engineering and architecture, built upon a heritage as a forestry operator.

The agency built a solid reputation in complex industrial process engineering, later expanding into wine estates and upscale hospitality.

AETHER, the agency's R&D unit, is today at the forefront of longevity projects and orbital data centers.

"Oportet suscipere neque sperare post perseverare."One need not hope in order to undertake, nor succeed in order to persevere.

The approach

The creative journey.

  1. 01

    Understand

A context, a vision, a strategy, needs, desires, economics, brand DNA, a location, a terroir.

  2. 02

    Sketch

A model, a first line where hand sketches, conviction, and vision set the direction.

  3. 03

    Materialize

Bringing together the site, structure, engineering, and processes with tactile materials and light.

  4. 04

    Guide

At every step of a project.
From initial sketches and permits to construction, finishing details, and final reveal.

Forest

Where commitment takes root.

Behind every project lies a material.
Behind every material lies a commitment.

As a dedicated forestry operator, Olivier Chadebost selects timber from his own forests to shape his architectural creations, from structural framing to furniture and custom lifestyle accessories.
